Tom N. Tran ( Associate)
Tom Tran was born
Saigon, South Vietnam. He received his Bachelor
of Science degree in 1994 from California State
University, Long Beach. He received his law
degree in 1988 from the Thomas M. Cooley Law
School, where he graduated cum laude. While in
law school, Mr. Tran was the Assistant Editor
for the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review (1997-1998)
and the Research Editor for the Thomas M. Cooley
Journal of Practice and Clinical Law
(1997-1998).
Mr. Tran was admitted to the State Bar of
California in 1998 and the U.S. District Court,
Central and Southern Districts of California in
1999. Mr. Tran also is admitted to practice law
in the State of Michigan and the United States
Tax Court.
Presently, Mr. Tran practices in the areas of
general business litigation and tax disputes
relating to insurance products challenged by the
Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Tran is a long
time hockey player and currently plays for club
hockey teams.
