Nicole
M. Hampton ( Associate)
Nicole Hampton received
a Bachelor of Science
degree, with a major in
Business Finance in 1993,
from California State
University, Long Beach,
where she graduated in
the top 10% of her class.
Ms. Hampton received her
law degree in 1996 from
Western State University,
where she graduated in
the top 10% of her class
and was the recipient
of American Jurisprudence
awards in Legal Writing,
Contracts and Trusts.
While in law school, Ms.
Hampton participated in
a pro bono program that
allowed her to argue before
the Ninth Circuit Court
of Appeals. She is also
a member of the national
business honor society,
Beta Gamma Sigma.
Prior to associating
with Hines Smith Carder
Leasure,
Ms. Hampton worked for
two litigation firms,
specializing in insurance
defense, property and
casualty defense, business
litigation, employment
litigation and general
civil litigation. She
has successfully tried,
arbitrated and mediated
numerous cases and has
substantial experience
arguing dispositive law
and motion matters.
Presently, Ms. Hampton
practices in the areas
of property and casualty
defense, insurance bad
faith litigation, insurance
coverage analysis and
litigation, employment
litigation, general business
litigation, complex commercial
ligitagion and corporate
law. Ms. Hampton is admitted
to practice before all
courts of the State of
California, and is a member
of the Orange County and
State of California Bar
Associations. She currently
enjoys a variety of outdoor
activities, especially
riding motorcycles.
