Marc
S. Hines (Partner)
Marc Hines received his
law degree in 1988 from the
University of Southern
California. Prior to forming
Hines Henderson in 1993, Mr.
Hines practiced as a trial
attorney with Allen, Matkins,
Leck, Gamble & Mallory in
Los Angeles and spent three
years as an associate at the
law firm of Hamilton &
Samuels in Newport Beach.
Mr. Hines practices in the areas of general business litigation, insurance litigation (inclusive of insurance bad faith, property and casualty defense, and insurance coverage analysis), long term health care defense, intellectual property litigation, employment law, construction law, and corporate law. While he has extensive trial and appellate court experience, Mr. Hines serves his clients most effectively with his ability to close seemingly irresolvable, multi-party business and litigation disputes.
Mr. Hines is licensed to
practice in all federal
and state courts within
California. He is a
director of Safe Moves, a
nonprofit organization
devoted to teaching
bicycle safety to school
children. When not
practicing law, Mr. Hines
practices and competes in
the martial arts. He has
earned black belt
distinctions in both
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and
Brazilian Valle Tudo and,
as part of this interest,
also represents fighters
in connection with their
contract negotiations,
business, and regulatory
disputes. |
