Christine M. Emanuelson ( Associate)

Christine M. Emanuelson received her law degree in 2002 from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, in Sacramento, California, where she received academic awards for honors achievement in oral advocacy and the Dean’s List. Ms. Emanuelson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999 in Law and Society and Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she graduated with honors.

Prior to associating with Hines Smith Carder Dincel Bland, Ms. Emanuelson began her legal career with Moskowitz & Nixdorf, LLP in the Bay Area representing clients in tax controversy and collection work. In 2004, Ms. Emanuelson moved to Orange County and joined the firm of Avila & Peros, LLP, where she focused her practice on construction defect litigation, civil litigation and general corporate matters.  

Ms. Emanuelson was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2002 and the State Bar of Nevada in 2006. She is licensed to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, United States District Court for the Eastern, Central, Southern, and Northern Districts of California, United States District Court for the State of Nevada, and the United States Tax Court.

Presently, Ms. Emanuelson practices in the areas of property casualty defense, construction defect litigation, insurance coverage analysis and litigation, insurance bad faith litigation, business litigation, and employment law
