Julie E. Bonnel-Rogers (Associate)

Julie Bonnel-Rogers received her law degree in 1994 from University of San Francisco School of Law in San Francisco, California where she graduated with oral advocacy honors including the 1993 USF Advocate of the Year title.

Ms. Bonnel-Rogers received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1989 from Santa Clara University where she majored in Political Science and minored in Philosophy. During her college studies she interned in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Following college and before entering law school Ms. Bonnel-Rogers taught English on the Island of Saipan in the Northern Marianas Islands and traveled extensively around the world.

Ms. Bonnel-Rogers was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1994. She is licensed to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Prior to associating with Hines Smith Carder Dincel Bland, Ms. Bonnel-Rogers began her legal career with Clapp, Moroney, Bellagamba, Davis and Vucinich in Menlo Park, California focusing primarily on insurance defense. In 1998, Ms. Bonnel-Rogers joined Niven & Smith in San Francisco, California where she continued her career in civil litigation.

Presently, Ms. Bonnel-Rogers practices civil litigation including business litigation, elder law, creditor's rights and insurance defense in the firm's San Jose office.
